Marrowlight, one week on: thank you
Marrowlight has been out for just over a week, and we want to start with the only thing that really needs saying: thank you. To everyone who wishlisted, everyone who played the demo and came back for the full descent, and every patron whose support funded the hardware and animation behind this game — you carried Marrowlight here. We think it's our best release this year, and watching players fight through Vaskaryn has been the best week of ours. Where things stand: The game:

Lantern Hollow is OUT NOW — check in
She's open. Lantern Hollow launches today on Steam. Nine lanterns on the porch rail. Eight of them lit. You inherited the Lantern Hollow Inn — eleven rooms, a wraparound porch, and a green cloth-bound register going back to 1958. The register has a column for departed. It has been empty since April 4th, 1961. Guests arrive after midnight, soaked, polite, and a little confused about the year. Nobody is lying to you. That's the problem. Four people. Four versions of the curse.

Greek Row: Fall Semester is OUT NOW
She's out. Greek Row: Fall Semester launches today on Steam. Sixty feet of asphalt. Six houses. Six women who notice what you're doing before you do — and one roommate who has never been on a date and tells you so within eleven minutes of meeting you. This is the year you learn you cannot hand a person a life. Three acts — August is three days, October is four weekends, January is two weekends with no new doors. 5,000+ lines. Six routes, seven endings, plus Milo's own arc, wh

Marrowlight is OUT NOW
She's out. Marrowlight is live on Steam. The drowned gothic continent of Vaskaryn is open — hundreds of the dead on screen at once, six hand-built stages, 32 enemy types, six stage bosses, and the six anchors waiting at the end of every chain. You are Orrin Vesk, the Last Warden. Fight. Die. Evolve. Quick-start pointers: - Orrin is the baseline — outgrow him. Your first runs are for learning the horde's shape, not for winning. - Pick a build early: chain-binding (control the

Reagan Kilroy & Yuki Moreau — the fun one and the girl filming the crowd
Reagan Kilroy is the fun one, and it isn't free Reagan Kilroy is nineteen. Three jobs. Sleeps Tuesdays. Everyone in the house thinks she's the fun one, and she is — it just isn't free. That is the whole sentence, and the game means every word of it: the fun is real, and so is the cost, and the house has gotten very good at enjoying the first half while never asking about the second. She'll tell you what it costs exactly once, and only if you ask the question that comes after

Nadia Feng & Sloane Whitaker — the legacy and the girl who draws through lecture
Nadia Feng draws through lecture Nadia Feng is nineteen, art history, third-generation legacy — pinned before she could vote. She draws through lecture and still gets the answers right, and nobody has ever guessed why. Hint: the drawing isn't about the lecture — it's the eleven minutes, the one part of the day that belongs to no one else. She needs eleven minutes a day where no one is watching her be one of them. That is the whole of it, and it is enough: a life arranged befo

Elsbet Dern, the Lamplighter
Maren Veld refused to be freed. She had the math, and the math said the seal holds because she holds it. The second door is different. The second door opens, and the woman inside has wanted out for eight centuries — and says so within four seconds. That is Elsbet Dern. And after Maren, she is the clean emotional win the game owes you. The cunning-woman Elsbet was a cunning-woman of the lower districts during the Rot Years. Charms, herb-lore, plague-signs — the sort of practit

Announcing Greek Row: Fall Semester
Announcing Greek Row: Fall Semester Sixty feet of asphalt. That's the distance between Brennan Hall and Greek Row — six houses, shoulder to shoulder, white columns and green lawns, close enough that you can hear which one has the better speakers. You arrive in August with two suitcases and a milk crate of records you will not listen to once all year. Your roommate is Milo Brandt. He got here four days early. He has the entire course catalog printed and pinned to the wall in a

Camille "Cam" Ortiz — the girl who plays | Greek Row: Fall Semester character spotlight
Cam Ortiz has been the girl who plays since she was six Camille "Cam" Ortiz is nineteen, a freshman, Kinesiology. Midfielder. Blunt without cruelty, which is rarer than it sounds. She's been the girl who plays since she was six and never needed a second thing. That's not a metaphor she chose — it's the one everyone else chose for her, and she wore it because it fit and because it was true. August finds her exactly where she's always been: on the field, certain about the one t

Building the Horde
The enemy in Marrowlight is not a boss. It is not an army. It is a number. Vaurach, the Unnumbered, does not send soldiers at you. It sends multitude — a body count that stops being countable and starts being weather. So the first design decision, made before anything else, was a target we refused to negotiate down: hundreds of enemies on screen at once. Not dozens. Hundreds. If the screen ever looks manageable, we've failed. Everything else in the game is downstream of that

Priya Raval notices everything
Priya Raval notices everything That's not the compliment it sounds like. She'd tell you that herself — she considers noticing a personality flaw she's working on, badly. Priya Raval is nineteen, a freshman, Political Science, and the president of Kappa. Her father arrived in this country with four hundred dollars. In that house you don't get a plan B, you get a plan. She has never once been in a room where she was just a person who was there. She notices the protagonist, of c

Maren Veld, the First Link
Maren Veld, the First Link The first anchor was a volunteer. Nine hundred years ago, the thing came up out of the deep places under Vaskaryn, and eleven kingdoms fell learning it could not be killed — because there was nothing there to kill. Only multitude. So it was bound instead. Not with a spell. With a load-bearing structure: seven living women, each shackled to one chain, each holding one aspect of the thing down beneath the bedrock. Someone had to design that structure.
